The SPE Motorsport Differential Cover for Ford 10.25 and 10.5 Sterling rear axles is a heavy-duty upgrade designed with real-world functionality in mind — simple, durable, and built to outperform cheap square aftermarket covers. Snyder Performance Engineering integrated all the features needed for easy maintenance and long-term reliability: NPT drain and fill plugs for easy service and standard replacement fittings, a drain plug positioned at an optimized angle to drain fluid cleanly into a pan (not run along the axle), and a large fill port for direct bottle insertion to speed up gear oil fills.
Unlike cheap square covers that cause bearing starvation, the SPE cover is internally contoured to maintain proper fluid flow across bearings. A machined O-ring main seal eliminates RTV mess, stainless steel bolts resist corrosion, and the thick cover design improves axle rigidity under load. Integrated heat fins help dissipate heat without being fragile, and the increased fluid capacity extends differential life. Fits 1985-current single-rear-wheel Sterling 10.25 and 10.5 axles (12-bolt). Available raw or wrinkle black powder coat.

Note: Due to OEM manufacturer relationships with multiple outside suppliers, some differentials may have minor variations in their machining or sealing surfaces compared to the unit used during our design process. While this cover includes an O-ringed gasket, a thin film of sealant may still be required to ensure a proper seal, as these variations are outside of our control.
