Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for AllSuperATV’s 4" Portal Gear Lift for your Can-Am Defender HD10 6x6 lets you choose cast or billet aluminum housings and select either a 30% gear reduction for maximum torque and larger tires or a 15% reduction for smooth, precise trail riding. Built for mud and aggressive riding, this portal lift adds 4" of lift and helps reduce stress on critical drivetrain components by moving the gear reduction into the hub.
SuperATV GDP portals use ultra-strong 9310 alloy steel precision-ground gears for smooth, reliable performance. The housings are reinforced for strength and available in cast or USA-made billet aluminum, with advanced gaskets, a sealed input gear, and a double-lipped output seal to help prevent leaks. The output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing, and the backing plates are made from a specialized steel alloy for high-force applications.
These portals feature precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors, universal hubs for major bolt patterns, and a tapered output shaft for a secure, durable hub lock. The portals also increase width by 4" per side (8" total) and use a 1.5" diameter 4340 hardened steel driveshaft.

Can-Am Defender HD10 6x6 Max Tire Size Recommendations for 4" Portal Gear Lift
- 26" max tire size: stock suspension
- 27" max tire size: 3" lift
- 28"–32" max tire size: 2" forward offset A-arms
Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The listed sizes are the largest tires that fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tires can be used.
Wheel Requirements:
- 14" or larger wheel required
- Cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
- Wheels need a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55 mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
