Take Your Defender HD11 to the Next Level with GDP Portals
SuperATV’s 4" Portal Gear Lift for the Can-Am Defender HD11 combines 4 inches of lift with an integrated gear reduction for increased torque and ground clearance. It allows larger tires while reducing stress on the drivetrain. Gear reduction options include 15% or 30%, and the upgrade from cast to billet aluminum housing provides enhanced strength and durability for extreme conditions.
Choose a 15% gear reduction for faster, more aggressive riding, or a 30% reduction for extreme torque and massive tires. By relocating the gear reduction to the wheel hub, GDP portals absorb much of the workload before it reaches the drivetrain, helping protect axles, differentials, prop shafts, and transmissions from unnecessary stress caused by larger tires.
Our cast and billet aluminum housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow. Combined with 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy, these portals are built for strength and durability. Additional features include cool, quiet, precision ground 9310 alloy billet steel gears, a 1.5 in. diameter 4340 hardened steel drive shaft, advanced gaskets or O-rings, a sealed input gear, a double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings for proper gear meshing.

Max Tire Size Recommendations for 4" Portal Gear Lift
- 32" max tire size with stock suspension
- Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn
- The listed tire size is the largest fitment without rubbing; minor trimming or a small amount of rub may allow larger tires

Wheel Requirements:
- 14" or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
