Enhance Your Defender HD11 with GDP Portals Looking to get more out of your Can-Am Defender HD11? SuperATV’s 6" Portal Gear Lift gives you 6" of lift and built-in gear reduction for extra torque, better clearance, and the ability to run bigger tires without stressing your ride. Choose 30% or 45% gear reduction depending on how you like to ride, and if you want it really tough, go with the billet aluminum housing over cast housing.

Choosing the right gear reduction is the most important thing when getting portals. A 30% gear reduction gives you faster speeds and solid torque, while a 45% reduction is perfect for bigger tires and tough trails, giving you extra power and control.

GDP Portals shift gear reduction to the wheel hubs, taking the pressure off your Defender HD11’s drivetrain. Less strain on your axles, driveshaft, differential, and transmission means less wear and fewer expensive repairs down the road.

Built to take a beating, these portals are available with cast or billet aluminum housing and rugged 5/16" steel alloy backing plates. They’re engineered to last and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Advanced sealing and bearing components help keep things running smoothly:

  • Double-angular contact output bearings to prevent premature wear

Portals and oversized tires add serious strain to your machine’s frame, so SuperATV recommends adding a Frame Stiffener when installing these portals.

Max tire size recommendations for 6" Portal Gear Lift:

  • 34" max tire size with stock suspension
  • Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn
  • The listed sizes are the largest tires that fit without rubbing; larger tires may fit with minor trimming or some rub
