SuperATV’s Can-Am Defender HD5 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion is built to last, with patented X24 technology and a unique dual-bushing design that reduces wear by over 50% compared to stock. It’s a strong upgrade for machines running huge tires, big lifts, or other heavy accessories.
Hard work is hard on your machine, so RackBoss 2.0 uses durable PTFE bushings on both ends to remove play from the internal gears and tension spring. A built-in grease fitting makes maintenance easier after rough riding in mud and muck, and the design helps extend service life well beyond stock.
Available tie rod options include swaged steel tube tie rods or solid steel bar tie rods.

RackBoss 2.0 includes a 65% larger housing than stock, over 50% less wear than OEM after 15,000 cycles, and a grease fitting for the rack gears. It also includes inner boots, a steering stop kit, misalignment bushings, tie rod studs, and hardware.
