Description

Get control over your steering with a heavy-duty replacement rack and pinion for your Can-Am Defender HD7. SuperATV’s Can-Am Defender HD7 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion is built to replace a worn-out rack with reliable performance for hard work and rough riding. Its patented X24 Tech uses dual bushings at both ends of the rack to reduce wear by more than 50% compared to stock, while the built-in grease fittings help push out gunk and keep things running smoothly.

Features and options:

  • Heavy-duty dual PTFE bushings designed with X24 Tech
  • Reduces wear, slop, and overall durability issues
  • 65% larger housing than stock
  • Over 50% less wear than OEM after 15,000 cycles
  • Grease fitting for rack gears
  • Available with swaged steel tube tie rods or solid steel bar tie rods

Swaged steel tube tie rods include:

  • 7/8" diameter steel tube construction
  • 14 mm outer tie rod ends
  • Rebuildable inner tie rod ends with 14 mm rod threads and 16 mm rack threads

Solid steel bar tie rods include:

  • 1" thick solid steel bar construction
  • 3/4" outer tie rod ends
  • Rebuildable inner tie rod ends with 3/4" rod threads and 16 mm rack threads

Both tie rod options include inner boots, a steering stop kit, misalignment bushings, tie rod studs, and hardware.
