SuperATV’s GDP 6" Portal Gear Lift for the Can-Am Outlander gives you a lift and a gear reduction in one box. Get the clearance to run bigger tires and the torque you need to turn them. The lift and gear reduction are in the hub, which helps maintain suspension geometry and reduce drivetrain stress. Choose between a 30% or 45% gear reduction and select either a cast or billet aluminum housing.
45% gear reduction is ideal for mud and rocks. It provides the torque needed to turn huge tires and crawl over tough terrain with more clearance.
30% gear reduction is a versatile option for bigger tires, trail riding, hills, and maintaining higher speed on the road.
Our gears are precision ground and made with 9310 billet steel alloy for high strength and quiet operation. Both housing options use reinforced construction, advanced gaskets, a sealed input gear, and a double-lipped output seal for dependable sealing.

- (4) assembled portal hubs complete with 9310 gears, seals, output shaft, and thrust bearings
- (4) universal hubs and stainless steel slotted rotors with lug nuts
- (4) specialized steel alloy backing plates
- (3) steel caliper mounting plates
- (3) caliper mounting plate shims
- (2) steel steering arms
- (2) extended rear trailing arms
- Extended brake lines
- All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket

2012–2018 Can-Am Outlander portal gear max tire sizes
- 38" tire: requires a 6" lift kit
- Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest we fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
2019+ Can-Am Outlander portal gear reduction recommendations
- 28" tire: stock with stock footwells
- 30" tire: 1.5" forward offset A-arms with stock footwells
- 31" tire: stock with SuperATV footwells
- 34" tire: 1.5" forward offset A-arms with SuperATV footwells
- 37" tire: 6" lift kit with stock footwells
- 44" tire: 6" lift kit with SuperATV footwells
- Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest we fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
Note: This portal kit requires the use of SATV rear trailing arms.
Wheel requirements:
- 18" or larger wheel required
- 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- 20" wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55 mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
