GDP Portals Are Game-Changing
Get a GDP Portal Gear Lift for your Honda Pioneer 1000 and unlock power and performance you can’t find anywhere else. Choose a 15% or 30% gear reduction, with cast or billet aluminum housings to match the way you ride. For maximum strength, dual idlers are available for the toughest rides.
What Is a Dual Idler®?
A second idler gear inside the portal box spreads the load over twice as much surface area for stronger, more reliable torque transfer. Precision CNC grinding ensures the gears are perfectly matched, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy for durability.
Why Use Portals?
The gear reduction is built into the hub at the end of the drivetrain, which helps reduce stress on your axles, differential, prop shafts, and transmission. Depending on your setup, choose a 15% reduction for faster riding with added torque, or a 30% reduction for maximum geared-down performance with larger tires.
