Description

Gear down and go big with SuperATV’s 4" GDP Portal Gear Lift for the Honda Pioneer 520. It provides 4" of lift and your choice of 15% or 30% gear reduction to help increase torque and performance on tough terrain. Choose cast or billet aluminum housing, and optionally add dual idler bearings for added strength.

With portal lifts, the gear reduction is located in the hub instead of the transmission, helping reduce stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission. This setup is designed to help you run bigger tires while keeping your drivetrain working less hard.

Built with precision-ground 9310 steel gears and advanced sealing components, this portal lift is engineered for strength, reliability, and smooth operation. The dual idler gear design spreads the load over more surface area for improved torque transfer, and the housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow.

The portal system includes assembled portal hub boxes with gears, seals, output shaft, gaskets, and thrust bearings; universal hubs and precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors with lugs; specialized steel alloy backing plates; steel caliper mounting plates; caliper mounting plate shims; steel steering arms; bushings; sleeves; extended brake lines; all required hardware; and a steering stop kit.

Honda Pioneer 520 max tire size recommendations:

  • 25" max tire size: stock suspension
  • 30" max tire size: high-clearance 1" forward offset A-arms

Wheel requirements:

  • 14" or larger wheel required
  • Cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
  • Wheels must have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55 mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
