Chromoly makes it stronger
These tie rods are made with swaged 4142 chromoly steel alloy to help resist bending or shearing better than standard straight rods. That added strength helps you keep the pedal down when the trail gets rough.

The tie rod ends are built with chromoly and a precision blend of materials and heat treatment for a more durable, reliable design than OEM.
