Description

Gen 3 Portals are geared for all. SuperATV’s GDP 4" Portal Gear Lift for the Kawasaki Mule Pro is available with either a 15% or 30% gear reduction, giving you the torque and speed balance you need for your ride.

Choose 30% gear reduction for mud, rocks, and bigger tires when you want maximum torque and trail capability. Choose 15% gear reduction for farming and trails when you want added clearance and torque while keeping higher speeds for road travel between fields or on the trail.

These portals feature precision-ground 9310 billet steel alloy gears for cool, quiet operation and durability. Strong housing options include cast aluminum or USA-made, CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum with reinforced design, improved oil flow, and no vents. Advanced gaskets and seals help resist leaks, with a sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal.

The portal gear lift increases width by 4" per side, for 8" total, and includes a 1.5" diameter 4340 hardened steel drive shaft, no-leak bearings and seals, and a universal hub that fits all major bolt patterns. All necessary hardware, backing plates, brake lines, and instructions are included.

Portal gear reduction recommendations:

  • Up to 27" tires: stock suspension, 15% reduction
  • 28" tires: 2" lift kit, 15% reduction
  • Up to 27" tires: 1.5" forward front A-arms, 15% reduction
  • 28" to 30" tires: 1.5" forward front A-arms and 1.5" offset rear A-arms, 30% reduction
  • 28" to 30" tires: 1.5" forward front A-arms and 1.5" offset rear A-arms with 2" lift kit, 30% reduction

Gear reductions listed are general guidelines to maintain factory top speed. Installing a larger than recommended gear reduction will result in extra torque and lower top speed. Give us a call for more information.
