SuperATV’s GDP 6" Portal Gear Lift for the Kawasaki Teryx gives you a lift and gear reduction in one package. Get the clearance to run bigger tires and the torque you need to turn them while maintaining suspension geometry and reducing drivetrain stress. Choose between a 30% or 45% gear reduction and cast or billet aluminum housings.
45%—Perfect for mud and rocks
Install big 6" portals with a 45% gear reduction for huge tire clearance and a massive boost in torque. It helps turn monster tires like stock and gives you the power to crawl over rocks and power through deep mud.
30%—Perfect for everything
A 30% gear reduction lets you run bigger tires while keeping versatility for mud, trails, hills, and higher-speed riding.
Better gears and stronger housings
Precision-ground 9310 billet steel alloy gears are built for high strength and high speed, helping them run cool and quiet. Choose from reinforced cast or USA-made billet aluminum housings designed to handle internal and external torque loads. Both housing options include advanced oil-resistant gaskets, a sealed input gear, and a double-lipped output seal for dependable sealing.

- 1.5 in. diameter 4340 hardened steel drive shaft

Wheel requirements:
- 18" or larger wheel required
- 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- 20" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55 mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
Kawasaki Teryx Portal Gear Reduction Recommendations
- Up to 26" tire: Stock suspension, 30% gear reduction
- 27" to 32" tire: 2" lift kit, 30% gear reduction
- 33" to 36" tire: 1.5" forward front A-arms and 1.5" offset rear A-arms, 30% gear reduction
- 37" to 38" tire: 1.5" forward front A-arms, 1.5" offset rear A-arms, and 2" lift kit, 30% gear reduction
- 39" to 42" tire: 6" lift kit, 45% gear reduction
Gear reductions listed are general guidelines to maximize torque and maintain factory top speed. A larger than recommended gear reduction will result in more torque and lower top speed. Patent # 11,299,042.
