Description

SuperATV’s GDP 4" Portal Gear Lift for the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 lets you choose the setup that fits your ride, with 15% or 30% gear reduction, cast or billet aluminum housings, and single or dual idler gears. Built for strength, mud, and bigger tires, it helps reduce stress on your drivetrain while delivering the ground clearance and torque boost portals are known for.

GDP portals are designed with premium 9310 alloy steel gears for smooth, quiet operation and maximum durability. Dual idler gears help distribute load over more surface area for greater strength, while the 1.5" diameter 4340 hardened steel drive shaft adds even more reliability. The housings are reinforced for improved oil flow and gearing forces, and use Thermo-Tork gaskets or O-rings for dependable sealing. You also get specialized steel alloy backing plates, steel caliper mounting plates, strong bearings, universal hubs, and precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors.

This 4" portal gear lift includes:

  • (4) Assembled portal hub boxes complete with 9310 gears, seals, output shaft, gaskets, and thrust bearings
  • (4) Universal hubs and precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors with lugs
  • (4) Specialized steel alloy backing plates
  • (4) Steel caliper mounting plates with spacers
  • (2) Steel steering arms
  • Extended brake lines with parking brake and brake cable brackets
  • All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket

Recommended gear reduction:

  • Up to 35" tires: stock suspension, 15% reduction
  • Up to 40" tires: High Clearance 1.5" Forward Offset A-Arms, 30% reduction

Gear reduction recommendations are general guidelines to maintain factory top speed. Installing a larger than recommended gear reduction will result in extra torque and lower top speed.

Fitment:

  • Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000: 2020-2025
  • Kawasaki Teryx KRX 4 1000: 2023-2025

Wheel requirements:

  • 14" or larger wheel required
  • Cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
  • Wheels need a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
  • Stock wheels require 30 mm wheel spacers
