Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for All
SuperATV’s GDP Portal Gear Lifts are built by riders, for riders. Whether you’re into mud, rocks, trails, or all of the above, these portals are designed for your Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. Choose your gear reduction, housing style, and idler gear configuration to get the setup that fits your riding style.
GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
More off-roaders ride on SuperATV portals than any other brand, making GDP one of the most trusted names in portal gear lifts. Built with industry-leading technology and tested by experienced riders, these portals are made to perform.
Upgrade to Dual Idlers
Dual idlers are a strong upgrade for hard riders. Adding a second idler gear distributes the load over more surface area for improved torque transfer and greater strength. Each idler gear is CNC ground and made from 9310 alloy steel for smooth, efficient performance.
Perfect for Mud
A 6" lift helps keep you out of the deepest mud and creates room for bigger tires. Combined with gear reduction, it gives your KRX the torque it needs to power through tough terrain.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Because the gear reduction is placed in the hub, there’s less stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission. That means you can ride hard while helping protect your drivetrain.
Unmatched Gear Material
Precision-ground 9310 steel alloy gears are used for their strength, smooth operation, and quiet performance mile after mile.
Stronger Housings by Design
Choose cast aluminum or USA-made 6061 billet aluminum housings. Both are reinforced for strength and designed with oil flow and gear forces in mind. They do not use vents, which SuperATV tested and found to do more harm than good.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Both housings use advanced oil-resistant gaskets, a sealed input gear, and a double-lipped output seal for reliable sealing and reduced leak potential.
Bearings That Rock
Roller bearings secure the idler gear, and the output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing built to handle heavy loads in any direction.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
GDP portals include precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors for cooler braking performance and universal hubs to fit major bolt patterns. They also use a tapered output shaft for a secure, wobble-free connection.

Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 Portal Gear Reduction Recommendations
