Description

Upgrade your Polaris Ace with SuperATV’s Pinion Shaft and Snorkel Gear Kit for greater reliability and transmission strength. The stock snorkel gear is a major weak spot, and a transmission failure is one of the worst problems you can experience on an Ace. This kit uses 9310 alloy steel, the same high-strength gear material used in NASCAR, to handle high torque and stress.

Our snorkel and pinion gears are lapped before shipping, meaning each matched pair is run together in a special process until they are smooth and mate perfectly. That gives you better efficiency and smoother operation than stock from the very first revolution.

Transmission work is hard, so while you’re in there, reinforce your whole transmission. The optional front output shaft is 41% stronger than factory and is made from 300M steel with heat treating for a precise blend of strength and longevity. This material and heat treat combination was rigorously field- and torque-tested for ultimate strength.
