Transform Your Polaris General Into a Powerhouse

SuperATV’s 5" Long Travel Kit upgrades your Polaris General 1000 with a wider stance, more ground clearance, better articulation, and improved high-speed stability. It adds 5" to each side for 10" overall and allows you to run up to 33" tires.

This kit includes front and rear high-clearance A-arms, a billet aluminum hex tie rod kit, Rhino 2.0 Axles, extended front brake lines, preinstalled UHMW bushings and sleeves, shock brackets, and all hardware. The only thing you’ll need are your ball joints.

The billet aluminum hex tie rods are made from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum for strength, performance, and style, and use heat-treated chromoly steel monoball tie rod ends for added durability. They are stock length replacement tie rods and are easily adjustable without disassembly, with a lifetime warranty backing them.

Rhino 2.0 Axles are built from 4340 chromoly steel with a proprietary heat treatment for maximum strength and durability. They feature oversized CV joints, increased shaft size, and CAD-drawn precision for extreme articulation and lower CV temperatures. These axles are backed by an industry-leading 18-month warranty.

Preassembly is available if you purchase ball joints with the kit. If you do not select pre-installed ball joints at checkout, you must reuse your stock ball joints.

Ball joint options:

  • Heavy-Duty Ball Joints: Made from 4340 VAR steel with a zinc-plated finish, accessible grease zerks, and an adjustable design. Tested to handle twice the pressure of OEM ball joints.
  • Super Duty 300M Ball Joints: Made from 300M grade steel with an easy-access grease zerk and adjustable steel-on-steel design. 2.25x stronger than stock.
  • Keller Ball Joints: Two-piece design with no snap ring, chromoly steel stud, and tool-steel body. Greaseable and rebuildable, designed for larger machines, bigger tires, and heavier rides.
  • Adds 5" to each side, 10" overall

  • Preadjusted pivot blocks for perfect camber

Note:

  • Factory wheels require 1" wheel spacers
  • Does not fit the General XP 1000 or General XP 4 1000
