For better reliability and performance, upgrade to SuperATV’s Polaris General 1000 Complete Heavy-Duty Transmission. This made-to-order transmission upgrades the case and internals for a stronger, smoother machine. Perfectly meshed gears and material upgrades help reduce slipping gears and other transmission issues. You also have the option to remove turf mode for even more reliable strength. Built for battle, it’s made to deliver high performance and durability on rough terrain.
Twice as Reliable Double Reverse Chain
When you’re stuck in a rut and throw it in reverse, that pop means your chain is gone. That’s why it’s upgraded with a double reverse chain that gives you nearly twice the strength of stock and more confidence when backing out of tough situations.
Upgraded Pinion and Snorkel Gear
The pinion and snorkel gears transfer a lot of power to the driveshaft, so they need to be strong. These gears are made with 9310 alloy steel and broken in together so they mesh perfectly. The package also includes a 300M front output shaft for added strength and smooth operation.
A Stronger Pinion Bearing Retainer
A stronger pinion bearing retainer helps keep the gears aligned where they’re supposed to be. This thicker-than-stock retainer supports consistent power transfer to the driveshaft.
A Big Beefy Transmission Case
The upgraded transmission case adds strength where it matters most. It includes 68% more material at the snorkel tube and axle output areas, plus additional gussets and ribs that double as cooling fins. It’s built to stay cool and hold together when you’re pushing the limits.
Get the Gear Reduction You Need
Choose the gear reduction that fits your setup: stock, 12.5%, 25%, or 37.5%. A gear reduction can add torque for bigger tires, extra weight, punchier acceleration, and better performance on rough trails or in mud.
