More power. Bigger tires. Greater ground clearance. SuperATV’s GDP 4" Portal Gear Lift for the Polaris General gives you the freedom to choose the setup that matches your riding style. Available with a 30% gear reduction for maximum torque and larger tires, or a 15% gear reduction for agile trail riding, these portals can completely overhaul your riding experience. Choose from cast or billet aluminum housings, and upgrade to dual idlers for the strongest gear set available.

What is a Dual Idler®?

Dual idler gear portals use a second idler gear in the portal box to spread the load over more surface area for more reliable torque transfer. Precision CNC grinding helps ensure the gears are perfectly mated, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy for added strength.

Strength and durability

GDP portals use reinforced housings optimized for gear retention and oil flow, advanced steel alloy backing plates, advanced gaskets and O-rings, a sealed input gear, double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings to help maintain perfect gear meshing and reduce wear.

Fitment

  • Polaris General 1000: 2016+
  • Polaris General 4 1000: 2017+

NOTE: Does not fit 2020+ Polaris General XP 1000 or XP 4 1000.

Wheel requirements:

  • 14" or larger wheel required
  • Cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
  • Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer

  • 27" max tire size: 3" Lift Kit
  • 29" max tire size: 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms
  • 29" max tire size: 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms and 3" Lift Kit
  • 42" max tire size: 7-10" Lift Kit
