Whether you’re rock crawling, mud riding, or just tackling chores, this 4" GDP Portal Gear Lift is built to give your Polaris Ranger 1000 the torque and performance you want. Choose a 15% or 30% gear reduction depending on how you ride, and upgrade to dual idler gears for added strength and durability.
GDP Portals place the gear reduction right in the hub, which helps reduce wear and tear on your axles, differential, prop shafts, and transmission compared to a standard gear reduction. Dual idler gears spread the load over more surface area for more reliable torque transfer, and precision CNC grinding helps ensure the gears mate properly. The gears are made from 9310 steel alloy for premium strength.
Built components include cast and billet aluminum housings, 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy, advanced gaskets and O-rings, a sealed input gear, double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings. The housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow. You can also use Portal Blood gear oil formulated for GDP Portals.
