Give your Polaris Ranger XD 1500 more power and performance with SuperATV’s 4" GDP Portal Gear Lift. Choose a 15% or 30% gear reduction to boost torque, make towing easier, and improve acceleration. The 4" lift adds ground clearance for bigger obstacles and larger tires while maintaining OEM suspension angles.

What is a dual idler?

By placing a second idler gear in the portal box, the load is spread over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding ensures the gears mate perfectly, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy.

Get the exact performance you need

Choose a 15% gear reduction to maintain a high top speed while still getting more torque. Choose a 30% gear reduction for maximum torque, easier hauling, and stronger takeoff from a dead stop. It’s also a great choice for bigger tires.

Portals protect your drivetrain

Putting the lift and gear reduction right in the wheel hub helps your entire drivetrain benefit from the reduction while keeping your axles at factory angles. That means less wear and tear across your components.

The cast and 6061 billet aluminum housings are designed for hard work and hard rides, and they’re backed by advanced steel backing plates for strength. The housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow.

A 4" portal gear lift and larger tires add extra stress to the frame, so SuperATV recommends installing a frame stiffener to help keep your machine strong and reliable under heavy use.

Max tire size recommendations for 4" Portal Gear Lift

  • 30" max tire size with stock suspension
  • Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn
  • The listed tire sizes are the largest that fit without rubbing; larger tires may fit with minor trimming or a small amount of rub
