Whether at work or at play, SuperATV’s GDP Portals give your Polaris Ranger XD 1500 the power it needs to dominate any terrain. This 8" Portal Gear Lift provides 8" of lift plus an all-in-one gear reduction, with 45%, 60%, or 70% reduction options so you can run larger tires and boost torque. For maximum strength, upgrade from cast to billet aluminum housing.
After years of research and development, SuperATV’s dual idler portal design spreads the load over twice as much surface area for reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. The gears are precision CNC ground and made from 9310 steel alloy for cool, quiet operation and durability.
These portals increase ground clearance and reduce stress on your drivetrain by placing the gear reduction in the wheel hub instead of the transmission. That helps reduce strain on your axles, prop shaft, differential, and transmission while letting you turn large tires more easily.
Built for strength, these portals are available with cast or billet aluminum housing and include 5/16" backing plates made from advanced steel alloy. The housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow. They also feature advanced gaskets and O-rings, a sealed input gear, a double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings to help maintain proper gear meshing and reduce wear.

Wheel Requirements:
- 22" or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
Max Tire Size Recommendations for 8" Portal Gear Lift:
- 38" max tire size with stock suspension
Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
An 8" portal lift and bigger tires can seriously level up your Polaris Ranger XD 1500, but they also put lots of strain on the frame. To keep your machine sturdy and ready for hard riding, a SuperATV Frame Stiffener is required.
