SuperATV’s GDP 8" Portal Gear Lift for the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Diesel gives you the lift and choice of a 45% or 60% gear reduction to run bigger tires with more torque. By placing the gear reduction in the hub, it helps maintain suspension geometry and reduces drivetrain stress, making your Ranger a serious mud-ready machine.
This portal kit is available with billet or cast aluminum housings and uses cool, quiet, precision-ground 9310 alloy steel gears. It also features a 1.5" forward and rear offset, increases width by 4" per side, and includes a 1.5" diameter 4340 hardened steel driveshaft. The housings use advanced gaskets and rubber O-rings, and the universal hub fits all major bolt patterns.

The kit includes four assembled portal hub boxes with 9310 gears, seals, output shaft, gaskets, and thrust bearings; four universal hubs and precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors with lugs; four specialized steel alloy backing plates; four steel caliper mounting plates; all required hardware including a recessed castle nut socket; and extended brake lines.

Wheel Requirements:
- 22" or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
Max tire size recommendations with 8" portals:
- 34" - Stock
- 37" - 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms
- 38" - 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms and 3" Lift Kit
- 40" - 6" Lift Kit
Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
