Polaris Ranger XP 570 8" Portal Gear Lift
What can you do in a Polaris Ranger XP 570 with 8" GDP Portals installed? Anything you want. With huge ground clearance, a 45%, 60%, or 70% gear reduction, and a dual idler gear option, you’ll be able to take on tough terrain. An 8" GDP Portal Gear Lift changes the way you ride.
GDP dual idler gear portals spread the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding helps ensure proper gear mating, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy.
Portals deliver gear reduction in the hub, which helps reduce stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission compared to a traditional gear reduction kit. They also add lift and ground clearance for mud and rough terrain.
GDP Portals are built with strong housings and 5/16" backing plates. Available housing options include billet or cast aluminum. The design includes reinforced housings for gear retention and optimized oil flow, advanced steel alloy backing plates, and no vents.
These portals use advanced gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance and low deterioration rates, a sealed input gear, a double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings for proper gear meshing.

A frame stiffener is required with your 8" portals.
Max tire size recommendations for 8" Portal Gear Lift:
- 34" tire: Stock suspension
- 37" tire: 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms
- 38" tire: 1.5" Forward Front A-Arms and 3" Lift Kit
- 48" tire: 6" Lift Kit

Wheel requirements:
- 22" or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer

- Extended brake lines
- All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket
