Gear Down and Go Big
For the best performance and the biggest lift on your Polaris Ranger XP 900, an 8" GDP Portal Gear Lift gives you the ground clearance you need to fit up to 30" tires. Choose a 45%, 60%, or 70% gear reduction for serious torque and big-mud performance, or go with the dual idler configuration for the most extreme setup.
What is a Dual Idler? Dual idler gear portals use a second idler gear in the portal box to spread the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding helps ensure perfect gear mating, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy.
45%, 60%, and 70% Gear Reductions Dominate Mud With 8" portals and your choice of gear reduction, you can run bigger tires and keep moving through deep mud with the clearance and torque needed to power through tough conditions.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain Portal gear lifts reduce stress on your axles, differentials, prop shafts, and transmission by placing the gear reduction in the hub instead of the transmission.
Housings and Backing Plates Built Stronger GDP Portals feature reinforced housings optimized for gear retention and oil flow, along with 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy. Available with billet or cast aluminum housing.
