Drop-In Geared Reverse Ranger XP 900 Transmission
Your Ranger is known as the lifesaver on the trail—always winching out your buddy’s machines when the trail is too much for them to handle. You need a transmission that can handle being thrown into reverse when you’re stuck in a rut and need lots of power. That’s why we made a geared-reverse transmission specifically for your Polaris Ranger XP 900. It ditches OEM’s weak reverse chain altogether and installs without any modifications.
There’s strength in geared reverse. Our reverse gear is three times stronger than stock, giving you more confidence when backing out of tough spots.
Enhanced pinion and snorkel gear set. The pinion and snorkel gears are 2.5 times stronger than stock and are made with 9310 heavy-duty steel, while the front output shaft is made with 300M. Precision ground gears are mated for smoother operation and less wear.
Upgraded 6 mm pinion bearing retainer. A 6 mm thick retainer with a six-bolt pattern helps keep everything securely in place for consistent gear mesh and improved reliability.
Reinforced case for extra strength. The upgraded case adds support ribs, gussets, fins for cooling, and more metal around the snorkel tube and axle output areas. It also includes all necessary seals.
No turf mode. Eliminating turf mode removes a major weak spot and helps increase reliability.
Customize your gear reduction. Choose from stock, 12.5%, or 25% gear reduction for added torque and better performance with larger tires, portals, or lifts.
