GDP Portals Are Best in Class A portal gear lift is the pinnacle of power and performance, and SuperATV’s Polaris RZR 900 4" GDP Portal Gear Lift gives you a choice of 15% or 30% gear reductions and cast or billet aluminum housings. You can also upgrade to dual idler gears for maximum strength.

What is a Dual Idler? A second idler gear in the portal box spreads the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. The gears are precision CNC ground and made from 9310 steel alloy for durability and smooth operation.

Benefits of Portals The gear reduction is placed in the hub to help reduce stress on the drivetrain while maintaining factory axle geometry. Your axles, prop shaft, differential, and transmission work less, helping extend component life.

Strength and Construction These portals use reinforced cast or billet aluminum housings paired with advanced steel alloy backing plates. They are designed for gear retention and optimized for oil flow.

Gear Reduction Guidance Choose 30% for low-end torque and larger tires, or 15% if you want added torque while keeping more top-end speed.

Wheel Requirements

  • 14" or larger wheel required
  • Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
  • Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
