Gear Down and Go Big

SuperATV’s GDP 8" Portal Gear Lift for the Polaris RZR RS1 gives you a lift and a 45% gear reduction in one box. It adds clearance for bigger tires while delivering the torque needed to turn them, and because the lift and gear reduction are in the hub, it helps maintain suspension geometry and reduce drivetrain stress.

With 8" portals and a 45% gear reduction, this kit is built for mud, rocks, and monster tires. The gears are precision ground from 9310 billet steel alloy for cool, quiet performance under load. Available with billet or cast aluminum housings, the kit also includes reinforced housings, advanced steel alloy backing plates, a double-angular contact bearing, and sealed components designed for strength and reliability.

  • (2) Caliper adapter plates
  • (2) Steel steering arms
  • Extended brake lines
  • All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket
  • Frame stiffener (optional)

Suspension recommendations for 8" portals:

  • 40" max tire size: Stock
  • 42" max tire size: 1.5" forward front A-arms
  • 44" max tire size: 1.5" forward front A-arms and 3-5" lift kit
  • 50" max tire size: 7-10" lift kit

Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The listed tire sizes are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.

Fitment:

  • Polaris RZR RS1: 2018-2021

Wheel requirements:

  • 22" or larger wheel required
  • Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer

You need to reinforce your UTV with a frame stiffener. An 8" portal kit is heavy-duty hardware, and for the Polaris RZR RS1, a frame stiffener is required.
