What Is a Dual Idler?
Dual idler portals use a second idler gear in the portal box to spread the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and exceptional strength. The gears are precision CNC ground and made from 9310 steel alloy for smooth, quiet operation and durability.
Why Choose a Gear Reduction?
Portal gear lifts place the gear reduction in the hub, helping reduce stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission compared to stock. Choose 30% for faster trail riding with plenty of power, 45% for rock crawling and rough terrain, or 60% for the ultimate mud setup with massive tires.

Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest we fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.

Wheel Requirements
- 18" or larger wheel required
- 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- 20" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
