SuperATV’s GDP 6" Portal Gear Lift for the Polaris Sportsman XP gives you a lift and a gear reduction in one box. Get the clearance to run bigger tires and the torque you need to turn them. The lift and gear reduction are in the hub, which helps maintain suspension geometry and reduce drivetrain stress. Choose between a 30% or 45% gear reduction and select either a cast or billet aluminum housing.
30% gear reduction is ideal for a versatile setup that can handle mud, trails, hills, and road speed while turning bigger tires.
45% gear reduction is best for maximum torque, especially for mud and rock crawling with large tires.
Our gears are precision ground and made with 9310 billet steel alloy for strength, smooth operation, and quiet performance. The gear boxes are reinforced for durability, with improved oil flow and no vents. Both cast and billet housings use advanced oil-resistant gaskets, a sealed input gear, and a double-lipped output seal for strong sealing coverage.

Polaris Sportsman XP Portal Gear Reduction Recommendations
- Up to 32" tire size: 2" lift kit, 30% gear reduction
- 33" to 35" tire size: 6" lift kit, 30% gear reduction
- 36" to 40" tire size: 6" lift kit, 45% gear reduction
Gear reductions listed are general guidelines to maximize torque and maintain factory top speed. A larger than recommended gear reduction will result in more torque and lower top speed. Give us a call for more information.

Wheel Requirements:
- 18" or larger wheel required
- 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- 20" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
