Polaris Sportsman XP 8" Portal Gear Lift
Maximize performance with GDP Portals and add an all-in-one 45% gear reduction with 8" of lift. This setup lets you run bigger tires, tackle rough terrain, and gain more torque while keeping strain on your drivetrain to a minimum. SuperATV offers cast or billet aluminum housing for added strength and durability.
GDP Portals place the gear reduction in the wheel hub instead of the transmission, helping protect the axles, prop shaft, differential, and transmission while delivering the power you need to turn large tires more easily.
Built for durability, these portals feature reinforced housings for gear retention and optimized oil flow, advanced steel alloy backing plates, and no vents. They also use advanced gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance, a sealed input gear, double-lipped output seal, double-angular contact output bearings, and roller idler and drive bearings for smooth, reliable operation.
Includes:
- (4) Assembled portal hubs complete with 9310 gears, seals, output shaft, advanced gaskets, and thrust bearings
- (4) Universal hubs and stainless steel slotted rotors with lugs
- (4) Specialized steel alloy backing plates
- (4) Steel caliper mounting plates
- (2) Steering arms
- Extended brake lines
- All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket

Max tire size recommendation for 8" portal gear lift: 36" with stock suspension.
Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.

- 22" or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
