SuperATV’s GDP 6" Portal Gear Lift for your Yamaha Viking lets you choose a 30%, 45%, or 60% gear reduction, along with cast or billet aluminum housings. You can also upgrade to dual idlers for added strength. It gives you more ground clearance while changing your gear ratio for the way you ride.

What is a Dual Idler®?

Dual idler gear portals spread the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding helps ensure the gears mesh properly, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy.

Ride Any Way You Want

For mud, the extra 6" of clearance gives room for massive tires, and the 45% or 60% gear reduction helps keep you from getting stuck. For trails and faster riding, the 30% gear reduction delivers plenty of torque while maintaining a higher top speed.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain

The gear reduction is built into the hub, which helps reduce stress on your drivetrain and helps protect your prop shaft, axles, diff, and transmission from premature wear.

Stronger Housings by Design

Choose USA-made, CNC-machined billet aluminum housings or cast aluminum housings. Both are reinforced with 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy.

Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The given tire sizes are the largest we fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.

Wheel Requirements:

  • 18" or larger wheel required
  • 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
  • 20" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
