A Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 4" Portal Gear Lift from SuperATV gives you more ground clearance and torque—the perfect combo. The lift gives you room for big tires, and the gear reduction gives you the torque to turn them like stock. You also have the option to add a dual idler, which improves strength even more.

What Is a Dual Idler®?

By placing a second idler gear in the portal box, the load gets spread over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding ensures the gears are properly mated, and they’re made from 9310 steel alloy.

Ride Anywhere You Want

With a 15% gear reduction, you’re ready for trails, creeks, dunes, and desert riding with plenty of torque. Choose a 30% gear reduction if you want to run big tires and tackle slop and rocks with ease.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain

Because the gear reduction is in the hub, everything before it works less. Your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission all benefit from it, and factory axle angles are maintained for added durability.

The portals use thick cast and billet aluminum housings and 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy. They’re reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow. You can also enhance performance with Portal Blood, gear oil formulated for GDP Portals.

Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The sizes listed are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
