Choose your gear reduction (30%, 45%, or 60%) and housing material (cast or billet aluminum) to match the way you ride. With more torque, room for larger tires, and the option for dual idlers, your Wolverine will be ready for tough terrain.
What is a Dual Idler®?
After years of research and development, SuperATV made its dual idler gear portals to spread the load over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and a stronger gear set. Precision CNC grinding ensures the two idler gears are perfectly mated, and the gears are made from 9310 steel alloy for durability.
Perfect for Rides of Any Kind
GDP Portals can improve a wide range of rides. 45% or 60% gear reduction is ideal for mud riding and larger tires, while 30% gear reduction is a good choice for smaller tires and balanced torque on trails.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
By putting the gear reduction directly in the hub, portals reduce stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission so they can last longer while you ride harder.
GDP Portals Are Stronger
These portals are built for strength with reinforced cast and billet aluminum housings and 5/16" backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy.
- Reinforced housings for gear retention and optimized oil flow

- Can be enhanced with Portal Blood gear oil formulated for GDP Portals
- No vents, which are not used because testing showed they do more harm than good

Wheel Requirements:
- 18" or larger wheel required
- 18" wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2" backspacing
- 20" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer
