Description

SuperATV’s GDP 4" Portal Gear Lift for the Yamaha YXZ is geared for all. Choose from 15% or 30% gear reductions and cast or billet aluminum housings to match your riding style and terrain.

Go with a 30% gear reduction for bigger, sloppier mud holes, more torque, and the clearance to run larger tires. The same setup also helps in rocks, giving you the crawl torque and ground clearance needed to tackle boulders without scraping your skid plate. For trails, a 15% gear reduction delivers extra torque for technical climbs, washouts, and rough terrain.

Our gears are precision ground and made from 9310 billet steel alloy for high strength and high speed, so they stay cool and quiet even under hard use. The housings are thoroughly researched and tested, with a choice of cast aluminum or USA-made, CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum. Both options are reinforced, designed for better oil flow and gearing forces, and use advanced gaskets and seals to help prevent leaks.

Wheel Requirements:

  • 14" or larger wheel required
  • 14" and 15" wheels cannot exceed 4.5" backspacing
  • 16" and larger wheels cannot exceed 5" backspacing
  • If using factory 14" wheels, you must run 2" wheel spacers
  • Not compatible with dual beadlock wheels
  • Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1" wheel spacer

Max Tire Size Recommendations for 4" Portal Gear Lift:

  • 32" tire size with stock suspension setup
  • Max tire sizes are measured at full compression and full turn. The listed sizes are the largest fit without rubbing. With minor trimming or a small amount of rub, larger tire sizes can be used.
