The internally reinforced end tubes and outside corners provide more strength where the core is most vulnerable. A common failure point in many OE radiators, X-TRA Cool Radiators use a proprietary gasket that allows for contraction, expansion, and front-end movement. Using a fiber reinforced plastic mix adds strength to the end tanks. Reinforcement ribs are added to the weak points to help eliminate end tank failures. The integrated mounting points have been updated for added strength. This allows for the radiator to be securely mounted in the factory locations. X-TRA Cool Radiators use a heavy gauge steel crimp strip to mate the core to the end tanks.
