Upgrade the factory main bolts in your 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke with the XDP X220 Main Stud Kit XD3005MS. Designed for high-performance applications, these main studs are constructed from 8740 Chromoly Steel with an added proprietary element for enhanced strength and durability. Unlike the factory bolts, these heavy-duty studs will not stretch, providing a reliable and reusable solution for your engine's main bearing caps.
With a tensile strength of 220,000+ psi and yield strength of 210,000+ psi, these main studs ensure superior clamping force under higher combustion pressures. The threads are rolled after heat treatment to maximize fatigue strength. By replacing the OEM main bolts with these studs, you can achieve a more precise torque reading, as the force is applied to the vertical axis, resulting in even clamping force. Manufactured in an ISO/TS 16949 quality control facility, these studs guarantee the highest level of quality and performance. Each kit includes washers, 12-point nuts, and installation instructions for a hassle-free setup. Assembly lubricant is sold separately.
