Upgrade the factory head bolts in your 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke with the XDP X220 Series Head Stud Kit XD3004HS. Engineered to prevent common head gasket failures associated with increased horsepower and torque, these head studs are constructed from 8740 Chromoly Steel with an added proprietary element for superior durability. Unlike factory bolts, these heavy-duty studs will not stretch and are reusable, making them a must-have for high-performance applications.
With a tensile strength of 225,000+ psi and yield strength of 205,000+ psi, these head studs provide a more accurate torque reading and even clamping force, thanks to the vertical force application. The threads are rolled after heat treatment to maximize fatigue strength. Manufactured in an ISO/TS 16949 quality control facility, these studs ensure the highest level of quality and reliability. Each kit includes washers, 12-point nuts, and installation instructions for a hassle-free setup. Assembly lubricant is sold separately.
