TITAN Fuel Tanks Direct Replacement, Mid-Ship Fuel Tanks are manufactured to use the trucks stock/original equipment fuel sending unit. The trucks stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted into the TITAN tank. They are a direct fit, there are no modifications needed. With use of the stock sending unit, the trucks analog fuel gauge will read correct and accurate with the TITAN tank.

This new Titan fuel tank is made of our famous military grade, cross-linked polymer (XLHDPE). It’s at least ¼” thick and built to outlast all competitors. It’s tougher than steel and more durable than aluminum. Like all fine TITAN products, this new design has undergone extensive testing. Our legendary products are so tough and well-proven that we back them with a Lifetime Warranty!

60 Gallon*, extra capacity, extra heavy duty, midship replacement fuel tank for 2020-2022 GM 2500HD and 3500HD 4X4/4WD pickups (Single and duel rear wheels) with Crew Cabs, Long Beds, and Duramax diesel engines. The TITAN tank is 24 gallons larger at 60 gallons. The stock tank is only 36 gallons.

Tank comes complete with black, baked epoxy-coated, galvanized steel mounting straps. Tapered tank features exclusive low fuel trap design so most every gallon can be used, and is approximately only 2” deeper than the stock OEM tank. Very similar in appearance to original equipment tank. TITAN’s Generation 6 tanks feature the TITAN Torque Ring™ OEM style sending unit mounting system for easy, positive installation.

Technical Service Bulletin: Effected Vehicles: 2019-to Current GM 6.6L Diesel Crew Cab Short and Long Bed Trucks Issue: Fuel gauge Drops to Empty After Initial Install and Vehicle Driven Approximately 100 Miles. Explanation: The GM trucks have the ability through programming and monitoring to know exactly how much fuel is in the fuel tank as well as fuel consumption based on miles driven and fuel economy. The design of our XXL tanks adds additional fuel volume above the OEM float which in turn will hold the float on full past what the computer thinks is acceptable. The truck will run a system check and see that the Fuel gauge is reading out of specifications and will zero the fuel gauge. This will put the truck into a semi-adaptive learning mode and the truck will start to align the specifications with the current truck parameters. In our experience 4-5 full tanks ran from Full to empty will fix this issue on analog gauges. Truck with digital gauges (such as Denali, AT4, and High Country models) can take up to 10 full tanks to remedy this issue. Recommendations: Run tank from full to empty, do not fill up until tank is close to empty.
